UNO-Chicago Grill Frederick MD – Resturant do list
As a rule I find one Restaurant chain almost like any other. Take basic visual and tactile concept, attack it with a cookie cutter and spread liberally throughout the country until done or you file for chapter 7.
How I came to be at this particular location is a story in it’s self which I will tell in the post above but for now here’s my review.
I found the staff to be friendly and professional especially our server Arron a nice young man even though he suffered from the curse of the optimism of youth. Let be honest we have all had far worse wait-staff I’m sure and I would say if you are their ask for him. In a modern America of over indulged slackers this kid has a good old fashioned work ethic. Trust me our group of DC lobbyists and politicals made him work.
The decor was.. well if I was a woman I could tell you but since I have way too much testosterone and my wrist isn’t limp I’ll just say something to do with home country kitchen. Doesn’t matter I liked it, the food was excellent and you just can’t beat a classic Chicago style deep dish pizza.
For those of you who are in denial about your need for Alcoholic’s Anonymous they have a pretty bitch’en drink menu. Personally if I was the Frederick Chief of police I’d be setting up road blocks on Friday and Saturday night on Urbana Pike. Does the concept “so many neat drinks” so little time have any meaning ?
