Mail bag: Thinking about starting an escort agency
Agency Ownership is not what you think

I was thinking about starting an escort agency and was curious if you had anyone there at fantasy that mentors new business owners. Also, how I found you guys I was searching the net for I.D. verifying procedures and ran across your page. Do you provide this service for other agencies? If so, how does it work, I just put a link on my page, and they verify through you guys and then I check with you? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Dear Brian:
Your best bet is to go to work as a driver and then a phone operator for a local yellow pages operation while you learn the ropes because starting an agency means people’s lives are dependent upon you for the situations which you arrange. One murdered, harmed or busted up girl and you’re responsible. Sadly, the latter happens everyday in the business. As a rule, clients ARE RARELY HONEST, not your friend and can NEVER be completely trusted. Never ever. Yes, I know a sad and dark way to view the world however; as an agency owner, it is the most practical path. Same goes for the majority of escort directories, they have their own agenda and if you aren’t serving it- too bad for you. Don’t think for a second they will not turn you over to the boys in blue in a minute if one shows up at their door with a subpoena. Outside of Dreams / Fantasys network and some of the people we consider our peers, there is NO HONOR in this business.
If it were as easy as hanging out a sign and a red light everyone would be doing it. If it were ONLY the question of is the guy a donuts loving state employee or not, verifications wouldn’t be such a big deal. The nonsense about “referrals” is exactly how America’s finest in the Southeast bust all of the services and hobbyists. Grasp this concept, the provider referral or reference methodology is fundamentally flawed. Which is why Fantasy Client Screening doesn’t use them. Granted it’s on the screening form, but it is used as a measurement of a client applicant’s “standards” only.
Let me give you a Fantasys network secret, TARGET audience is a big deal with us. Just because a guy is willing to spend his money doesn’t necessarily mean you want him as a client. With us the safety factor IS the biggest thing, this is why only 40% of potential clients pass screening. I cannot stress enough how important safety is, we have a saying, “never push a questionable situation”. A man’s ego is such that we think we can do anything without ever really asking ourselves if we even should. “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”
Bottom line is it’s a numbers game. If you operate the way most other agencies operate, taking anyone with a few dollars in hand; you’ll probably get a lot of people hurt, busted, losing their kids or feeding their drug habits. Sadly, odds are this is what you normally encounter in the escort end of the adult industry. Do you really want to answer to a detective or the girls family or spouse if she gets killed because you wanted to make some “easy money”? It happens everyday and does not make it onto the industry boards.
Here is a simple truth which other agency owners would chide me for even admitting. This business, as a general rule, attracts individuals with the least amount of education, self discipline, impulse control and character. Granted there are exceptions I know since I hire them or they are my clients. Unlike many agency owners this is my career, my vocation. The phrase “Master the basics” is not some idle catch phrase I spout. To me this business is a craft to be mastered just like any other. My path may not be your path however I suggest you ask yourself why you want to jump into this business. It’s not easy money, it’s hard work and you never lose sight these woman’s lives are in your hands. If you’re a man of character then you’d better find a way to live with that constant weight upon you. A late or missed security call sends me through the roof. Even if a call is over, I don’t relax until she (or her security following her) calls and tells me she is home safe.
One of the keys to success is having a clear vision of what you want to accomplish, what you stand for and who you are. Any spiritual process predicated upon a lie is doomed to failure. I’m sure many would not agree with me when I say “be clear on what your spiritual truth is”. It is part of what will make you or break you as an agency owner. I’m not trying to crush your dreams or goals I’m just telling you like it is from my perception of reality. Granted for all I know I could be delusional. However, I’m getting results. Which in the end is what often matters.
Sincerely,
Lee Dreams
