Lee lets loose – Washington D.C. Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey

As we all walk the path of life one would like to believe there are common lessons learned by us all. Sadly this is not so. My lessons in life are not your lessons, my values are not your values.

Such is the case of the alleged Washington D.C. Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

In life, War and in business there are (in my opinion) things you just DON’T do!

As every man knows (yes I know she’s not a man work with me here) or should know having been taught by his (her) father, one of many simple principles. In this case a couple come to mind:

1) If you’re going to run with the big dogs expect to get bit.
2) If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.
3) If you can’t take a “hit” then don’t try to be a quarterback.

Ms. Palfrey was no stranger to this business, she knew the risks and now as she stands before the Piper she doesn’t want to pay up.

Well Gentlemen, let me be very clear on my “opinion” and personal view on her and this whole affair.

You DON’T kiss and tell, you DON’T become a snitch and give up Clients!!! If you must write a Book, DON’T NAME NAMES!!!!

With this said my personal feeling and opinion on Ms. Palfrey and Jody “Babydol” Gibson both are low life pieces of E-coli and suffer from C.U.N.T syndrome. As in, (and this is how I’m using the term) Can’t Understand Normal Thinking. Your definition may be different however I’ve been very clear on mine, which during this RANT is what matters. What both of them have done in my eyes is WRONG, DISHONORABLE and causes the few of us who strive to do, be and live better with clearly defined values, to be soiled by their shit spray.

This business often attracts people with the least of amount of character, marketable skills and impulse control. For the sake of argument lets only take the lowest common denominator and ask where can someone with no education, talent or marketable skills make over $80.00 an hour? This is NOT to say there are no smart, educated people with good souls in this business, there are. However, from what I’ve seen and met I suspect the latter is the minority. By the way if you’re complexing over what I just said, then maybe you need to look within on a few issues. If it doesn’t apply to you then there isn’t an issue is there ?

Ms. Palfrey it would seem has a history (as I interpret it) of less than honorable behavior to begin with nor good judgment.Deborah Jeane Palfrey “She moved to San Diego and, in 1988, met Thomas Czech, a Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. He remembered how she talked on the first date about psychic readings, an apparent calling of hers that would haunt him. Czech said they dated a few times and then he got married to another girlfriend. Palfrey, he said, was “very, very upset.” Palfrey said he was already married when she met him and that he lied about it, a charge he denies. She began calling incessantly, periodically showing up on his doorstep and writing him long letters about how she was psychic and knew they were meant to be together, he said. Whenever he would move, Palfrey would find his address and contact him, Czech said. Once, she drove to his mother’s farm in Idaho looking for Czech and got angry when he wasn’t there, he wrote in court documents.”{1}

In 1989, she had a restraining order placed on her by Czech. Now think about this, Thomas was a former active Marine and he finally had to go get a restraining order on this woman.

Subsequently in 1990 was arrested and charged with prostitution. In 1991, Palfrey was to have gone on trial in San Diego Superior Court, she never showed up, instead leaving behind a long, rambling letter with her lawyer. In it, she claimed – much as she claims now – that her lawyers failed her and that police and prosecutors were “out to get her”. She said she fled because she “cannot find justice. … Instead I have found a system replete with dirty rotten cops, avaricious and jaded defense attorneys and prosecutors who have no conscience at all,” she wrote. She was arrested a few months later Oct. 14, 1991 in Montana at the Canadian border. It is not clear whether she was leaving the country or seeking to re-enter. She was later sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to attempted pimping. Later after she got out and while she was on probation she started Pamela Martin and Associates.

I don’t know about you but “the man is out to get me” defense doesn’t wash considering this self-styled woman who says she lives by “the Golden Rule” and who describes herself as sophisticated, a perfectionist shows a pattern of bad decision making.

Here are more examples:

Not thinking that in a post 9/11 world the IRS and the US Postal Service wouldn’t notice over $ 750,000 dollars (from 2000 to 2006) in postal money orders (most of which were purchased in the MD, DC, VA areas) being deposited to the same California Wells Fargo and Charles Schwab accounts in her personal name? (Not a business account her personal name!)

One would think Ms. Palfrey would have had a contingency retainer with a Law firm, a trust fund set up or some vehicle which was not in her name to pay her legal bills just in case. Nope. Yet another bonehead move . It wasn’t like she couldn’t afford it becasue…..

According to the IRS Application for Seizure Warrant by IRS Special Agent Troy A Burrus I’ve read, on September 26, 2006 at Charles Schwab she had 188,000.00 (approx) in cash in one account and 51,000.00 in another. This doesn’t count the sum total of what she had at Wells Fargo bank and stock purchases with an approximate market value of an additional 188,000.00.

Now here’s yet another gem, which proves my point about her consistent bad decision making mental process. She graduated from Rollins College with a degree in criminal justice, and attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law but did not graduate. She also is alleged to have worked as a paralegal in San Diego, California. In short gentleman she gets held to a higher standard and SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!! I would expect these financial planning mistakes she’s made from the average Joe, but not with that education.

It seems to me, this woman is clearly accountable for what she has manifested or as Eleanor Roosevelt said:

In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility.

But wait. There’s more.

Ms. Palfrey has now dumped the Public defender for one Montgomery Blair Sibley. After reading up on this Attorney all I can say is “birds of a feather flock together”.
Here’s the excerpts from the Washington Post had to say on the man:

” While this 50-year-old scion of the highborn has recently been suggesting that he could make public the names of the 10,000 in order to protect his client Deborah Jeane Palfrey, he had to pay less attention to urgent business in two other places.

One was Florida, where the state bar was seeking to yank his license for at least two years. He was found guilty in absentia (in part for being a “vexatious litigant”) and now faces suspension if not disbarment. “He is someone who abuses the legal process,” says Barnaby Min, counsel for the Florida Bar.

The second was in Montgomery County, where he was to stand trial for failing to pay $11,218.20 in past-due rent on office space in Gaithersburg for a tiny shipping-crate company he heads. That trial was continued.

Something is amiss here, and we haven’t even gotten to the part where he sued the U.S. Supreme Court for treason (twice!), asking for $1 million in damages. Or that he spent 77 days in a Miami jail for refusing to pay child support. Or that Maryland has stopped him from running a law office in the state. Or that federal prosecutors in Palfrey’s case say Sibley’s filings are so ignorant of basic legal tenets that they are “almost incoherent.” ”

I guess based upon her life pattern it would be reasonable to assume if she looses her case and has the book thrown at her she’ll once again play victim and blaim the legal system for her out come. Is it just me or does anyone else see this train wreck coming ?

I think I’ve made my case Gentlemen I am sickened, appalled and pissed off. In my view, her “if I go down I’m not going down alone” attitude has hurt us all. Yes I know, as with all things “this too shall pass”. Eventually she’ll be relgated to the same club of historical obscurity as Elizabeth Ray.

What ?

You don’t remember the “The Washington Fringe Benefit” ?

Either way this is NOT the way to do business either one gets that concept or they don’t.

As Sophocles said “Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud.”

I agree.

I’m Done.

Life is a road so be good to your follow traveler’s and walk in peace gentlemen.
