If you prick us, do we not bleed?

The general public has a perception about what we do and in many respects they are locked into it. Granted there are those who seem to go out of their way to perpetuate stereotypes. However a stereotype doesn’t represent a whole truth. I’m not aggrandizing when I say ” this industry when practiced in a professional manner serves a purpose.” In many respects we are a safety valve, which vents the overwhelming pressure of living and for some surviving, during the challenging times of a historical tipping point.

It is during these times what we do at Dreams Escorts / Divine Companions is more critical than ever. Nature designed us men to be providers. Stalk it, kill it, take it home. Once upon a time if we wanted to make the Mrs. happy we just went out and killed something came home plopped it on the table to feed the family.

Our ego’s, our identity, our self esteem often is tied up in what we do to provide for our families. Those of us who had good male role models understand it is our duty to roll out of bed at 6 am, put in a 12 hour day to bring home the bacon. If that’s what it takes so be it, it doesn’t matter if the stress kills us, this is what nature bred us to do.

Times are shifting and we are entering into an age where what you have (Toys) is no longer the standard of measurement. Soon it will be how much you sacrifice and manage to save. In theory it sounds noble but the truth is it’s not. What happens if you don’t reinvest in you ? What happens when you don’t take the time to get release from the crushing obligation you now endure? Sooner or later you break down and your ability to provide, your competitive edge suffers.

WHAT ARE WE AT DREAMS?
We are the flash of light, the respite from the night and every righteous man’s life long companions of duty and obligation.

The success oriented mindset of Dreams / Divine Companion client will comprehend this simple metaphor from classical literature:

If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh?
If you poison us, do we not die?
And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?

–Act III,scene I ~ The Merchant of Venice

None of us are supermen or women for that matter, we all are subject to the same rules and laws of human function and limitations.

Last week no less than five clients took it upon themselves to call after their encounter to say “thank you, I didn’t know just how much I needed the experience your service provides.” Outside of the Fantasys Network no other Agency works our way and takes the level of pride and meticulous care we do, in WHAT we do.

If you’re reading this and you dismiss it as grandiloquence then you’re not in our target psychological profile (our kind of guy / gal). Obviously, we will not be a good fit and by all means we invite you to move on, seeking those with less challenging standards you can meet.

To my regulars I am honored you have chosen (or will chose) Dreams/Divine to be part of your moment of escape. To be the light at the end of your personal stress tunnel. So few people in this industry can even perceive how really important this sacred trust truly is.

  • Wow, this is kind of depressing! I see what you mean though. With the economy the way it is, money tight, people being laid off, and so on, it is best to relieve stress so you can deal with the situation without feeling the need to slit your wrists. Everyone has their own ways to set off that release.
