AN unusual sex survey has found that Australians who enjoy bondage and discipline are not damaged or dangerous, and might even be happier than those who practice “normal” sex.
The research showed 2 per cent of adult Australians regularly partake in sadomasochism and dominance and submission-type sexual role play.
And contrary to commonly-held stereotypes, they are not doing so in reaction to sexual abuse or because they are “sexually deficient” in some way, according the study of 20,000 Australians by public health researchers at the University of New South Wales.
“Our findings support the idea that bondage and discipline and sadomasochism (BDSM) is simply a sexual interest or subculture attractive to a minority,” Associate Professor Juliet Richters and her colleagues wrote in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
The findings showed that it was more common among gay, lesbian and bisexual people, and that participants were more likely to have been more sexually adventurous in other ways. Read the rest of this entry »

Social Class matters !
Once upon a time I had a writing professor who said never begin an essay with a cliché. Too bad I didn’t listen huh ?
Sitting at lunch with a local provider at Matsutake in Frederick an excellent steak and Sushi bar I was answering the question of why Dreams has had such success with our target audience. The provider was regaling me about the problem clients she’s had and the number of bad calls of late. In the end she asked me the inevitable question, “ what is wrong with these guys”?
Biting into my Sake (salmon) I looked at her smiled and said simply “ Social Class”.
“What” she replied?
“Social class”, I repeated. “Part of your answer has everything to do with social class. Of course the other part of the problem is “you” but I’ll come back to that.” Read the rest of this entry »

“It’s official” I said “were old fogies”.
Sitting back in my chair at Carrabba’s Italian Grill (one of our usual Lexington KY hangouts) with my business associate and bud, Mike of Fantasys, as we were talking about this new generation. You know you’re getting old when you start saying things like “what’s wrong with kids today” and “in my day we knew better“.
Recently Mike stated in his blog for Fantasys Escort Service a new quasi policy of “I’ve decided to go back to working more with the “mature women”. It’s always been against my better judgment to search out the “young-ins” because like it or not-they are notoriously UNRELIABLE and high maintenance. Hate the hell outta that! ”
Honest to god, we’re the ONLY Agency that I’ve ever seen that has real 18-20 year old girls and while they are easy on the eyes-they are a bitch and a half to work with. I’ll keep a few coming and going for new faces but I simply am not willing to keep up the pace to have them around. Wears me out.”
You would be amazed the number of applications I get from young women who don’t seem to get the fact our employment application is a “JOB APPLICATION“! Granted not everyone is a spelling bee champ however you would think proper use of English would be a given. Sad to say it is not uncommon for me to receive applications, which read like a teenagers Myspace page. Which incidentally it clearly states on the form the following: “Applications without photos, without a valid (working) e-mail address will NOT be given priority and probably ignored. ” I can count on about 20% of applications not having attached photos, the smart one’s put in the comments “I don’t have photos” which is acceptable. On several occasions I’ve had applicants literally tell me please go to my Myspace page to see my photo’s.

Hi and welcome Dream Talk volume 3 .
One of the critical keys to success I teach in Dreams advanced training is our internal thought on reality can never be reality. In other words perception is projection. We humans see the world through personal filters, which color how we perceive the universe. The Talmud the Jewish oral traditions say “We don’t see things as they are we see things as we are”. Noted psychologist Carl Jung explained it this way: You can’t see anything outside of you that isn’t you…..

Long time Fantasys Escorts clients know I’m a hard core flag waving Patriot when it comes issues of Americanism. This of course doesn’t mean I’m willfully blind either, I’ll be first one to stand up and say “hey there is a big pile of sh*t on the kitchen floor” ! Loving your country and being able to recognize it’s endemic faults are NOT mutually exclusive.
With the dollar on the decline against other world currencies and our government printing more money it’s no wonder why we’re all paying more for fuel these days. In reality the cost of fuel hasn’t gone up, what has happened is the value of the dollar has actually declined precipitously. Those of you who have trucks and SUV’s for business certainly know the impact and I feel you. Of course the group who I really have sympathy for is our truckers. The Government is there to bail out a failed brokerage house (Bear Stearns) but it seems our elected representatives have forgotten that trucking is a strategic industry in this country. These hard working men and women are trying to feed their families just like anyone else and it’s getting nearly impossible for them. Have you seen the price of diesel fuel lately ? I’ve been in the Escort Industry for about 15 years. In this time I’ve had the privilege and honor to observe many aspects of the human condition. People can in a philosophical way be converted to a mathematical formula.
You know, A2 + B2 =C2… if you already know A and C you can solve what B must be and so on. In a sense it’s really not rocket science if you pay attention.
The other day I was talking to someone who doesn’t work for me and she was asking how am I able to tell the winners from the losers with such accuracy.
“Well it’s simple,” I said. “The women who will be winners I can tell in the first 3 mins of the interview. You see winners all have specific traits in common just as losers have theirs.”
From my observations which many may or may not share,
this business often attracts people with the least of amount of character, marketable skills and impulse control. For the sake of argument lets only take the lowest common denominator and ask where can someone with no education, talent or marketable skills make (net) well over $180.00 (figure is based on industry variances) an hour? This is NOT to say there are no smart, educated people with good souls in this business, there are. I hire them!

There are several aspects, which make up the psychological profile, which distinguishes the Dreams Client from others within our market. One of those nuances is the concept of investing within your self. Spending time with Dreams Associate to many of our guys is a reinvestment in self. This is part of what they need to keep going as they do daily battle with life and career. Human beings are hunter / gathers. It is the purpose of men to hunt and provide. Every man who’s had a decent father knows this. In today’s world the hunt has been replaced by our careers and or our businesses. The Dreams client is focused on his life goal and what it will take to get there. In his book “The Book of Five Rings” Miyamoto Musashi talks about a not so simple concept, which I have no doubt any successful Dreams client could understand.
Musashi calls it “crossing at ford”.
Approach your life with confidence the assurance of knowing what you do best (your strengths) and take advantage of them. Water never goes over anything it can go around, and yet, few things can stop it. In like fashion, the warrior must learn to recognize the most advantageous path before him. Musashi terms this strategy “crossing at a ford.”
“Crossing at a ford” means, for example, crossing the sea at a strait, or crossing over a hundred miles of broad sea at a bridge. Crossing at a ford as I see it occurs often in a man’s lifetime. It means setting sail even though your friends stay in harbor, knowing the soundness of your ship and the favor of the day. When all conditions are met and there is a favorable wind, or a tail wind, then set sail. If the wind changes within a few miles of your destination, you must row across the remaining distance without sail. If you attain this spirit it applies to everyday life. You must always think of crossing at a ford. [ Miyamoto Musashi, trans. by Victor Harris, A Book of Five Rings (New York: The Overlook Press, 1974) Pg 73]
Like I said, as I have observed Dreams clients gets this principle of life and business. There is no need for me to say more.
Comments folks ?

To mediocre minded I merely run an escort service. To them we provide a service they can get anywhere and from their model of the world this is true. Unfortunately, for those who share this belief system they do themselves a disservice. Dreams Escorts doesn’t begin with being just a service ladies and gentleman, Dreams Escorts is actually is the philosophical end result.
Let me explain.
Dreams is my vision of what an Agency should aspire to be. It is the result of an unwavering set of principles, which in turn is manifested by myself and the women who join me. This will in three years or less create the reality of being the respected dominant leader in the South Eastern PA, MD and DC upscale escort market. The Agency isn’t “the dream”, the dream is a direct result of my shared vision.
( How existential… confused yet ? Read on… )
